NEIMA, AL AIN
Neima district in Al Ain has many attractions. The Lake (formerly called Zakher Pools) is a large lake mainly consisting of a spillwater. And ground water in the desert, 12 kilometers west of the base of Jebel Hafeet. Dave Clark discovered it as recently as May 5th 2006. As of December 2012 the lake is still as big as ever.
Made up of Neima1 and Neima2, Neima is a residential community in the southern area of Al Ain city. With Ni’mah Road (E40), Hazza Ibn Sultan Street (E95) and Jabal Hafeet Street forming its three borders the community is shaped like a triangle.
Health Care in Neima, Al Ain
There are several high-profile hospitals in the area. Neima Healthcare Center is the biggest clinic in the area.
Dining
Dining options are mainly confined to Makani Mall, which features restaurants like Shakespeare and Co, Gazebo and an extensive food court.
Fast food outlets such as Pizza Hut, Hardees, Mcdonalds and KFC, while a pleasant Just Fresh Juicer is in the area.
Shopping in Neima, Al Ain
The main shopping attraction in the area is Makani Mall. A large Spar supermarket exists on the ground floor. Elsewhere in the mall there are several clothing retailers, a Centrepoint, and a Home Centre called PAN Emirates.
A little Further from the area Located in the south-eastern-most corner of the area is Remal mall. With a large furnishing store, which sits among smaller shops selling furniture and light goods. The parade of shops on the E22 features a music store, several other small shops, and a Choithrams supermarket.
On the western side of Al Jimi is the Al Ain Convention Centre complex which features yet another furniture store – Home Mart – as well as huge fruit, veg, and meat market.
