ASHAREJ, AL AIN
Asharej is one of the most growing popular districts in Al Ain. This is due in the main to its variety of shops and its geographical location in the city.
Where it’s located
Asharej is bordered by khalidiya and bateen to the east, Al Khabisi and Al Towayya to the west. Zakher to the north and Markhaniya to the south.
The district is a mix-use community in Al Ain that features Bida Bin Ammar, Mreifia, Shabhanet Ashrej. And United Arab Emirates University. The neighbourhood is popular for spacious units that are perfect for large families. The abundance of educational centres, hospitals, clinics, restaurants, fitness centres, beauty salons and supermarkets is why the district is preferred by people seeking out housing options.
Transport and parking in Asharej
Despite ample retail, most of the district is residential and as a result parking is in vast supply. The E22 Abu Dhabi-Al Ain road runs along its eastern border. While the Al Baladiyya Street on the eastern side takes you to the E66 Dubai-Al Ain Road.
Several buses run through the area and taxis are relatively easy to find – usually congregating at Abela and the Tawam Hospital Area.
