AL HILI, AL AIN
Al Hili is one of the Growing popular districts in Al Ain. But this is due in the main to its variety of shops and its geographical location in the town.
Transport and Parking
The E22 Abu Dhabi-Al Ain road runs along its southern border. While the Al Baladiyya Street on the eastern side takes you to the E66 Dubai-Al Ain Road.
Several buses run through the area and taxis are relatively easy to find – usually congregating at Al Hili mall area.
Dining in Al Hili
Dining options are mainly confined to Hili Mall, which features restaurants like Biryani Pot, Reem Al Bawadi,Star Bucks, La Brioche, Costa Coffee and an extensive food court.
Fast food outlets such as Pizza Hut, Hardees, KFC and Mcdonald’s, while a pleasant variety of food trucks with specialty coffees and burgers rest in the area.
Shopping in Al Hili
The main shopping attraction in the area is Hili Mall. A large Lulu supermarket exists on the first floor, but be warned, it gets extremely busy in the evenings. Elsewhere in the mall there are several clothing retailers, a Centrepoint, and furniture store.
On the western side of Al Hili is the Al Jimi and Al Ain Convention Centre complex which features yet another furniture store – Home Mart – as well as huge fruit, veg, and meat market.
Al Hili Oasis
Hili Oasis is the northernmost oasis in the Al Ain district and features several historic structures, including two watchtowers, a traditional irrigation system and a fortified home built in the early 1800s. The lush and picturesque Al Hili Oasis is the northernmost oasis in the Al Ain district, and a great place to spend a few hours exploring.
